Wedding Ideas | Non-Floral Wedding Centerpieces!

Non floral centerpieces for wedding

Flowers are lovely to use for wedding centerpieces, but you can create some magical center pieces even without using flowers. Here are some wedding ideas and tips on some of the other elements you can use to enhance your wedding décor.

Your wedding décor must be in sync with your theme and so must the table centerpieces. It is very simple; first you must choose your theme. If you plan to have a beach wedding, your centerpieces would be mostly whites and could have shells, sands, pearls, pebbles, candles and anything which would keep the décor light yet elegant. You can use these elements in various ways like you can have sand in glass vases with a pillar candle in the center or a candle in a fish bowl with tiny shells or pebbles around it and randomly place the pearls on the table.

Similarly if you want a rustic wedding you can use anything from used cans or glass bottles as vases to bird cages with pin wheels as table centerpieces. You can let your imagination run wild and get as creative as you want!

Some of the other elements you can use to make your wedding center pieces unique and interesting are coloured feathers to add an interesting touch, crystals in vases of various shapes and heights, photo frames, brooch arrangements, coloured water in see through vases, natural elements like dried branches or cactus or even plants.

A simple way to freeze on your wedding center piece is to see a lot of props and shortlist the ones you like. Once you have done this then you can think of how you want to use them or place them. Like for example, if you love lace and want to incorporate it in your wedding décor, you can do so in many ways by adding touches to the smaller elements like use a strip of lace around the vases for the table centerpieces or simply use lace flowers as center pieces. An option to using fresh flowers would be using paper or fabric flowers.

So the key to creating wonderful center pieces is to think out of the box. If you need assistance on creating unique wedding center pieces you can always get in touch with us!

I could never think of a wedding without exotic flowers. But I love the idea of shells and feathers. Cactus… seriously?
