Wedding Gifts | Golkonda collection from Good Earth

GOLKONDA Design Collection 2011- 2012We at Marry Me love Good Earth! Sigh… if only our entire home was straight out of the Good Earth store! The designs in store celebrate the culture and history of India and are fabulous choices as wedding gifts – in fact, perfect for your wedding registry picks. They have pretty much everything under one roof – furniture, fine glassware and tableware, luxurious bed linen, bedroom and bathroom accessories and more. Did you know they even have a super cute kids collection? And they stock some great bath and body products – our favourite Molton Brown too!

GOLKONDA Design Collection launch at Good Earth Good Earth Mumbai has recently launched a gorgeous collection celebrating the colours and patterns of the Deccan – Golkonda. The collection has chandeliers, cut glass furniture and more, all inspired by the glitter of Golkonda diamonds.

Kalamkari from Machlipatnam is part of the design in the range of bed linen, which is designed with the colours and patterns of this art of hand printing.

Golkonda Designs launch at Good earthThe intricate patterns of Bidriwork from Hyderabad, are creatively used on dinner sets and glasses. The designs for this collection have been inspired by the ruins of the Golkonda fort, with photographs that tell stories of lost cities and civilizations that are given a whole new dimension with a blend of floral prints on cushions and wall art.

The brunch recently held together with Elle magazine to launch this collection was complimented by a dance performance Sufi splendor by Zia Nath.
