The Runway Hair-dos @ LFW Summer / Resort 2012

The Lakme Fashion Week Summer / Resort 2012 displayed some of the trendiest hair-dos for the season. The styles were in sync with the international summer/spring trends and were spiced up with the most interesting elements. The spectrum ranged from over-the-top bouffants to sleek, swept-back styles.

The slick hairstyles ranged from ponytails to clean updos bejeweled with lovely hair accessories. Vikram Phadnis’s show had high fashion up-dos adorned with bangles and crochet laces. It looked so pretty and very innovative we must say.  Dia looked stunning as she walked the ramp for Reve and Khushali Kumar donning the dainty tiara over a messy yet elegant undo.

Suhani Pittie’s statement making hair band turned a lot of heads too! Tanya Sharma, one of the Gen Next designers, had her models tie simple ponytails and added on the glitzy gold maang tikkas to spice up their look.

While some designers went over the top, others like Masaba choose the sophisticated look with shiny gelled hair tightly pulled back.
