The show opened with a collection of regal saris worn over glittering lame petticoats or churidars. Next were the pre-stitched saris with drapes and moulded net, chiffon, silk and georgette as interesting lehenga/sari combos or lehenga/gown duos. Also very interesting were the sarong style saris teamed with long sleeve backless cholis and high slits on pre stitched draped lehenga/saris.
For the final bridal segment, Neeta created embroidery that looked like prints on fabrics. The designs were embellished with exquisite Swarovski and crystal work teamed with beautiful thread and pearl embroidery. Neeta Lulla’s collection was a mix of glitz and glamour with a whole lot of bling!
The showstoppers – Hema Malini in a floor lenth white silk paneled kurta with a gorgeous lace dupatta and Esha Deol in a full silver and crystal embroidered bridal creation.
