Sticking to their signature style of merging elements from the Indian culture with western styles, the collection features the use of Indian drapes in a modern setting.
S&N drape, the bridge brand of Shantanu and Nikhil, is an extremely sensual and body conscious drape which portrays the young, sexy and alluring woman of today. Although the inspiration for this particular collection comes from the vintage Indian colors and culture, the sexy and cheerful silhouettes and drapes still manage to retain a quotient of western influence. The collection includes versatile evening gowns and short dresses which are perfect for a western themed wedding or cocktail party. The innovative sari dresses are the highlight of this collection and consist of shortened saris with a well fitted blouse draped with a pallu, making the entire outfit resemble a sari! Lending their support to the designer duo’s store launch were the gorgeous Dia Mirza and Aditi Rao Hyadri who also sported outfits from the collection.
