To start with, sunscreen is a must! Also adding blotting sheets to the kit would be of great help as the skin usually tends to get very oily in summer for most people. Astringent or a rose water spray and wet wipes will help guests stay cool.
Since Summers in India have been getting hotter with time, adding a range of ocean or mint inspired products to keep your guests cool may not be a bad idea. This will definately be very refreshing and perfect for the harsh weather. Like for example a range of travel sized bottle of shower gels, lotions, bath salt, cleansing milk and toner. You could even add a mint foot soak to relax tired feet!
If you wish to add some food, keep it to light snacks. Add packets of nuts, crackers, mint, candies, bubble gums, marsh mellows, jelly sweets and jujubes. Also consider adding small sachets of iced tea mix or green tea bags along with water bottles, beer for the men or a bottle of lemonade.
Some special things you can consider adding on for your lady guests…sarongs – in case it’s a summer beach wedding, cooling face packs such as watermelon or cucumber, printed vintage handkerchiefs, light printed scarves, night cream for the eye, lip balm and a sleep mask to name a few.
For the men you can add, a nice cologne, bandana, straw hat or a cool shaving gel with tea tree and mint!
Apart from the above mentioned things you can add generic stuff such as hand fans or battery operated mist fans, flip flops in case it’s a summer beach wedding.
Lastly we would suggest you could work out deals with local spas for a summer special facial or a couple foot massages at good package rates, you can share these vouchers with your guests as a part of their welcome kit. This could even be a deal for water sports in case of a beach wedding or with any local stores you love and would like your guests to visit too!
