It’s a great spot for couples sight-seeing, posing for romantic pictures in Venice or just soaking up the ambiance. The Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs are two of the most romantic places in Venice. Shopping in Venice, though expensive is a unique experience.

Outdoor cafes and dining: There are many places in Venice where you can enjoy some quiet time with your loved one. The various beautiful outdoor cafes are a perfect place to relax and relish an espresso or a glass of wine. There are many charming small piazzas along the Zattere promenade. Venetian cuisine is characterized by seafood, but also includes garden products from the islands of the lagoon. All the restaurants in Venice are romantic and an unforgettable experience!

Gondola ride: A leisurely romantic gondola ride in Venice is something you’ll remember for a lifetime. Snuggle against the plush cushions of a charming rowboat and exchange sweet kisses under a bridge while having the most sentimental time of your life. You could also take a vaporetto (water bus) and visit some of the many beautiful islands located in the Venice Lagoon like Giudecca, Torcello, Burano or cruise the Grand Canal on a vaporetto after dark for a refreshing change.

Watch the sunset: Sunsets in Venice are very romantic. After the golden glow of late afternoon, the skies are tinted pink and the hue of the sunset colors the gorgeous buildings of the city in a unique shade. The beautiful sunsets are visible from the lagoon shore at the Giardini Pubblici in Castello or from the park at Sant’Elena, further along the shore. Nights in Venice are quiet and perfect for romantic strolls.
