Ball gowns comprise of a fitted bodice and a full skirt. They are either in one piece or separates. These gowns look very formal and are perfect for traditional style weddings. They can support various necklines and sleeve lengths. You can choose to go for a portrait neck with full sleeves if you want to be covered and yet look beautiful or if you want a more dramatic look you can opt for a strapless gown and pair it with opera length gloves. For a more simple and elegant look you can select a sleeveless, scooped neck bodice that flows all the way to the ground.

Engagement Rings We Love!

The brilliantly cut solitaire with a diamond studded ring from Tiffany. Classic! This dazzling ring was inspired by the famous Tiffany Diamond. It gives a nod to the past and a glimpse of the future.

\"Tiffany-engagment-ring\"The natural pink colored cushion shape diamond ring set in platinum from Neil Lane is one of a kind. Truly feminine and subtle yet ultra glamorous, this is like a dream ring for every girl.

\"Neil-Lane-Engagment-ring\"A round solitaire with a diamond encrusted ring. We simply love this timeless piece of art from A.Jaffe which is delicate yet bold by itself.

\"ajaffe-engagment-ring\"This one’s a classic. We simply love the Blue Sapphire in an emerald cut. The Sapphire gives it a very vintage touch but is yet very classy and modern. The gem used reflects royalty and is similar to Princess Diana’s ring which was also designed by Garrard back then.

\"garrard-engagment-ring\"This oval micro-pave ring is an all time favourite by Harry Winston! We love this style, which is perfect to stack up with a diamond wedding band.

Liz Hurley Engaged!

\"ElizabethPhoto by Martin Karius

Shane Warne surprised his lady love Elizabeth Hurley, by popping the big question when they were in Scotland recently. Liz was gleefully surprised and simply loved the ring. Warne proposed to her in the traditional manner by going down on one knee at a public dinner.

The ring is stunning and has a nine carat blue sapphire in the center with diamonds on either side. The stone is set in platinum According to jewellery expert Michael O’ Connor, the ring is sinfully expensive, and would cost around $ 100,000.

Elizabeth is known for her style. We are really excited and looking forward to their big day as it will surely be magical!

Quick stop in Delhi | Bridal Asia 2011

\"whiteShantanu & Nikhil

It was great to go back to Bridal Asia and catch up with a whole lot of people there! As usual, the designerwear was the biggest attraction with the most packed booths. We loved the clothes at Ekru by Ekta and Ruchira – classic designs and understated elegance.

Also fabulous was Jaya Rathore – for her exquisite hand embroideries, attention to detail and fabric development, which are based on Indian artistry. But what really stood out was Saffron by Nidhi Tholia who is famous for her gota patti (we have had a few brides pick up her creations!).

Trash the Dress!

\"trash

What happens to the wedding gown or lehenga once the wedding is over?? It is usually wrapped neatly and placed inside the closet and never touched again.
