Payal Singhal Autum/Winter 2011

\"Payal

Payal Singhal’s latest collection is very interesting – a unique blend that has been inspired by the bygone era of Indian costume and the rock and roll world of stage dressing! We like the feminine sensuality of the Mugal courtesans which contrasts with the modern pop culture fashion. Umrao Jaan and Lady Gaga maybe?? Quite a combination!!

Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko’s Sunset Wedding!!

\"shannen

Shannen Doherty (remember her from Beverly Hills 90210?) got married to her fiancé Kurt Iswarienko at a private ceremony in Malibu on the 15th of October. The ceremony took place at a private canyon estate amidst 170 guests.

Shannen wore a Monique Lhuiller white gown with a cathedral veil and a black waist sash. She did two more changes later and Lhuiller also designed the second outfit. It was blush pink with lots of tulle…truly magical.

A long white aisle was erected over the pool which led to altar which was decorated with white flowers. Rose petals were scattered around the altar along with candlelit lanterns by the sides.

The dress code for guests was black formals. We love the wedding invite. It featured a photo of the couple with their framed monogram….simple yet beautiful. The whole wedding will soon be aired on a new reality show.

Can’t wait to get a glimpse of the wedding preparations and celebrations!

Here are some locations, which provide amazing photography backdrops that will no doubt create stunning images.

Mount Yoshino, Japan

Mt. Yoshino is one of Japan’s most sacred sites and a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its 3000 cherry trees. The flowers, which begin blooming gradually from the base of the mountain, spreading to the top, form a picturesque backdrop for photographs. If you desire privacy around these spots, it is advisable to visit any time on a weekday morning so that you avoid the weekend crowd of tourists.

Paul Mc Cartney and Nancy Shevell’s Intimate Wedding Ceremony

\"Paul

Former Beatle star, Paul Mc Cartney married a New York based business woman Nancy Shevell on the 9th of October at an intimate wedding ceremony with only 30 guests. It was a registered wedding which took place at Marylebone Register Office followed by a reception. Paul’s daughter, Stella Mc Cartney designed the couple’s wedding outfits. Nancy wore a demure ivory knee-length gown, with button detail on the front of the dress and on the sleeve. She carried a simple bouquet of assorted coloured roses while Paul wore a navy coloured suit with a light blue tie. Beatrice, who is Paul’s eight year old daughter from his ex- wife, was the flower girl. She looked very pretty in a dress with a rose pink over coat, ballet slippers and a floral tiara.
