The beach is a perfect venue to host a reception with relaxed and naturally beautiful surroundings. It works best for an intimate wedding with minimalistic décor. You could go all out with color or keep it neutral. Almost any palette would work on the beach – but remember keep it minimal! Here are some tips for your beach wedding décor using a neutral palette of white and beige.
Sheer is the most appropriate fabric to use for a beach wedding; the fall of the fabric is perfect to construct whimsical tents against the soft breeze of the ocean. Seating can be relaxed and lounge style along with coffee tables, maybe? Using elements from the beach like seashells, star fish and sand to make your centre pieces is a great idea. And don’t forget – soft lighting with scented candles along with mini lanterns. This will give a rustic look and add to the ambience.
To enhance the ambience further, you could use twigs and floating candles in cubical glass vases of varied heights on your buffet counter or even around the venue. You can also add Plumeria flowers and tikki torches to your décor for that tropical island feel!

I love the little sea shell candles. Wonderful favors too!
I’m a big fan of beach weddings that keep the color palettes simple – not super bright. This is so clean and classy.
I absolutely love the cake it almost looks like ‘sand art’ ….. All very serene, I love it.
