There is just so much to tell about our stay at this fabulous property that we had to write another blog on it! We ate at quite a few of the restaurants at the Mandarin Oriental<\/a> and ALL of them were amazing.<\/p>\n

We started with tea at the Authors Lounge. This was definitely our favorite space in the hotel. We loved the old colonial charm of this venue with its beautiful white furniture; we just wanted to sit there all day! The afternoon tea with mini sandwiches, pastries and of course scones was delectable. This space is also perfect for an intimate, fairytale wedding ceremony! It definitely got us thinking\u2026.<\/p>\n

\\\"High<\/a><\/p>\n

Our favorite meal and a must visit for every tourist in Thailand was Sala Rim Naam. This traditional Thai restaurant is on the other side of the river, along with the Spa and the Thai cooking school. Here you have the choice of dining either outdoors (a la carte) or indoors (a set menu with a Thai live performance). We enjoyed the set meal, with each course better than the other and impeccable service to match!<\/p>\n

Now, we were looking forward to our meal at China House \u2013 given our love for dimsum! Everything was exceptional \u2013 the presentation, the service and our favourite \u2013 the ginger ice cream \u2013 a must visit! Thanks Suzie, for insisting we try it! :-)<\/p>\n

Our final meal at the hotel was at Le Normandie, one of Asia\u2019s most famous French restaurants. We hear that celebrities and even the Thai Royal Family are regular visitors here. The service, ambience, beautiful views and of course the food was exceptional.<\/p>\n

Our favorite part of the meal was the grand finale \u2013 the dessert trolley. So we made our pick of a couple of desserts each (which was a tough choice), there all looked so yummy! And then the attendant created gorgeous floral designs on our plate with chocolate syrups and dressings right there in front of us, in less than a minute each too! Unbelievable! This hotel really focuses on details and this was definitely a meal we wont easily forget! :-)<\/p>\n
