We witnessed some of the most spectacular and intimate celebrity weddings in 2011. Some were low-key private affairs while others were over the top and trend setters like the Royal Wedding!<\/p>\n

This was one of the most awaited weddings and was truly magical. Looking back here are some of our picks from the weddings of 2011.<\/p>\n

Nick Lachey and Venessa Minnillo<\/strong><\/p>\n

They had a private fairy tale island wedding with just 35 guests. Though the guest list was short the wedding was amazing and the location was striking. The four day celebration took place on Richard Branson\u2019s private Necker Island. The invitations were plane tickets but destination was a secret.<\/p>\n

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>They went over the top with every element of the wedding planning and this was a truly a big budget wedding, though unfortunately it did not last long. Vera Wand created three custom gowns for Kim, and all the bridesmaids were decked in Vera Wang dresses too!\u00a0 The wedding was attended by a lot of celebrities and the lavish planning did turn a lot of heads.<\/p>\n

This Royal Wedding was nothing less than a fairy tale wedding with the perfect prince charming and the beautiful and elegant princess. The wedding created history and will be remembered as, the perfect Royal Wedding<\/a> for years to come\u2026<\/p>\n

With the meticulous planning and unmatched detailing this wedding has surely made a benchmark for other Royal Weddings in the future.<\/p>\n

What we loved \u2013 Kates\u2019 simple, minimalistic yet elegant look and the stunning Tiara!<\/p>\n

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince<\/strong><\/p>\n

Their vintage themed wedding was one of its kinds! The bridal party comprised of 15 bridesmaids including her 8 year old daughter who were all beautifully decked with floral tiaras. The three day long fiesta was carried out in special marquees set up for the celebration and the d\u00e9cor was just amazing.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Avantika Malik and Imran Khan<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imran and Avantika had a simple registered marriage which was followed by a grand wedding reception. The reception was attended by a lot of glitterati from Bollywood. The celebration was spread over a few days and lasted even after the wedding. The post wedding bash took place in Thailand where the couple celebrated with 50 close friends.<\/p>\n

Gul Panag and Rishi Attari<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was a fun wedding with a rather intimate guest list. The lovely couple who love bikes we seen arriving at the venue on a Royal Enfield bike where Gul was sitting in the side car. They exchanges vows among just close family and friends.<\/p>\n

Mahesh Bhupathi and Lara Dutta<\/strong><\/p>\n

This couple had an intimate beach wedding in Goa<\/a>. The picturesque location served as a perfect backdrop for this wonderful couple to exchange vows.<\/p>\n
