Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries finally got married on the 20th<\/sup> of August, 2011 after all the months of preparation that went in to put things together for this big day. It was a beautiful sunset ceremony which took place at 6.30pm amidst family and friends. Kim was dressed in a made to order Vera Wang gown with a full tulle skirt,\u00a0basque waist and Chantilly lace appliqu\u00e9 on the bodice and epic train and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her hair was tied up and she wore a statement making jeweled headpiece with diamonds that dripped onto her forehead. Her look was completed by a pair of Guiseppe Zanotti heels.<\/p>\n

\nKris wore a\u00a0white peak lapel tuxedo jacket along with black tuxedo pants and a white shirt and white bow tie by Ermenegildo Zegna. The bridesmaid\u2019s were all dresses in ivory gowns. Post the ceremony the party moved to a separate tent. \u00a0Kim changed two more gowns during her wedding reception; both were Vera Wang gowns.\u00a0 The second one was a mermaid gown with more Chantilly lace on the bodice and hand-cut organza petals on the skirt. The third dress was a satin V-neck gown. Kris swapped his white jacket and bowtie for black, for the wedding reception.<\/p>\n

The wedding rings were designed by Lorraine Schwartz, who is one of Kim\u2019s good friends. He also designed her engagement ring which was stunning and turned many heads. Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck dished out a lovely breakfast for all the guests. The wedding cake was a ten-tier black and white, chocolate and vanilla cake which was designed by Hansen Cakes in Los Angeles and is reported to cost close to $20,000.<\/p>\n

The altar was made of a huge cross studded with Swarovski crystals and the couple wrote their own vows. The wedding as well as the wedding reception had a black and white theme. \u00a0There were loads of white roses integrated in the wedding decor<\/a>. The newly married couple danced to the tunes of soul singer Robin Thicke as he sang his song \u2018Angels\u2019 for the couple\\’s first dance.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s celebrity friends who attended the wedding were Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato. The wedding venue<\/a> was highly secured and guests had to give away their phones and cameras.\u00a0The newlyweds plan to celebrate their nuptials again on August 31 on the east coast. The couple sold exclusive rights to People magazine for the wedding photos for 1.5 million dollars and the footage to E! network.
