Floral \u2013 Florals are the most popular choice in perfumes among women. Oriental \u2013 Oriental perfumes are decidedly more sophisticated and sensual. They are generally spicy and musky blends with bases like sandalwood, musk, balsam and sometimes even spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Chypre \/ Woody- Chypre (meaning cyprus) and woody perfumes are earthier, richer and warmer. Characterised by woody and mossy notes like those of oak moss, bergamont etc., these perfumes are often blended with a lighter floral or fruity touch.
