A visit to Mudraa Spa, Mumbai

 Anyone who knows me well enough would know I am a total spa junkie.

And this rubs off on my clients too! I\’m always urging brides to indulge in more spa time. You\’re getting married, so what better excuse right? :)

Now that we have come to the tail end of the wedding season, I thought it best to indulge in some spa time. I\’ve already done a couple of visits to a few different spas in the city, courtesy some of my lovely clients from last season, who very sweetly gifted me spa vouchers at the end of their wedding.

Mudraa Spa has actually been on my list of spas in Mumbai to try for a while now. It is just off Marine Drive in an unassuming building, I almost missed it! Not the perfect spot for a spa, but once you get in, you truly forget all about the outside world.

The ambience is beautiful and serene, a rarity in Mumbai! Once in, I was presented with the spa menu and I took my pick – a Balinese body massage and a Champi head massage it was! Ashon, my massage therapist greeted me and I was then taken to have my feet soaked and washed. Next, I was led to my therapy room where my massage therapist proceeded to begin with the treatment. Lots of stretching and deep strokes later, I emerged feeling very well rested. The Champi head massage was a great end to the session. I definitely recommend it! Once done, I enjoyed my cup of herbal tea before I made my way back home ready for the hectic work week ahead!

Mudraa Spa has some great summer specials on right now. They have a watermelon scrub and wrap which I didn’t try this time but sounds so good! They are just perfect for our hot and humid weather here in Mumbai. What was also very interesting is that Mudraa Spa has yoga, Chakra readings, reiki therapy and meditation on its menu! A lovely ambience to indulge in some wellness therapy!
