Beach Wedding Footwear

Having a wedding by the beach is very magical and we love a fun beach wedding! For a beach wedding you don’t really need to have too much décor as it is a naturally pretty set up. The whole point of having a wedding by the beach is to keep is casual and fun. Here are some ideas and inspirations for choosing your beach wedding footwear.

We would highly recommend to stay away from heels and to go with wedges or flats. Comfort is a very important factor as you surely don’t want sore feet on your wedding day. Heels are quite fashionable but are a complete no – no for a beach wedding; we would suggest you to go with something pretty and beachier. You can choose from a range of options like platform slipper to flip flops or ballerinas.

Simple embellishments such as crystals look very pretty and can add that little glamour to your bare look. You can opt for wedges with embedded crystals for a softer and more formal look or go for open sandals with a predominant crystal motif if you are looking for something more casual.

Open shoes like sandals or flip flops are best for beach weddings even though ballerinas are also an option since they are flat soled shoes too. Flip flops with detailing of elements inspired by the sea like shells or pearls are a great option.

Pearls are very beachy and look elegant. You can consider having slippers with pearl embellishments for your beach wedding. These would go well with your look if you are wearing pearl jewellery.

The most comfortable would be barefoot sandals. These look very dainty and are perfect for a beach wedding! These indian bridal sandals are very comfortable and look lovely!

You can even consider wearing shell or bead anklets in hues of blue. You can get these custom made and these would be perfect to flaunt those pretty feet on the sandy beach!
